Electrophile's changeover switch are a unique solution for secure supply of power to the facility. The changeover switches connect the critical loads/ circuits, the main power grid, the generator or an alternate source. When manually operated, the power flowing to the critical loads/circuit changes from either the main power grid or generator, preventing back feed into each other.
The switching mechanism is quick make, quick break type independent of the speed of the operation. There are four breaks per pole thereby resulting into faster quenching of arc. The load and line can be connected on either side by virtue of isolation on both the sides. The entire switching mechanism along with the fixed and moving contact assembly are housed in a fiber glass reinforced Polyester, molded frame/cover, having high dielectric strength & thermal withstand capacity.
